Reservations are required.
- We accept Cash or Debit.
- We strongly suggest that you leave your keys safely with us so you don't lose or damage them on the river.
- Water shoes or strapped sandals are ideal. Flip flops are often lost, and bare feet can be uncomfortable as walking is necessary.
- Most of the runs are knee-hip deep, however there are a few deeper spots. As the summer progresses and the water levels drop, there may be a few spots you will need to walk over, so river footwear is a must, as the rocks in the river are slippery.
- ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS OR STYROFOAM COOLERS PERMITTED ON THE RIVER. Cans or plastic only please.
- No loose items. All items going out on the water must be secured in a cooler, backpack or closed container. Please NO PLASTIC BAGS as they are environmentally unfriendly.
- Sunscreen is a must!
- Life jackets can be available for a $5 deposit. Call ahead to reserve, if one is required.
- Tubing is best for kids ages 5 and up.
- We do not recommend tying groups together, as it slows you down considerably, and leaves you unable to manoeuver around obstacles in the river.
- Stopping along the shore on the way, or tying together will alter your time on the water.
- Watch for the NTR exit sign at the end of your run.
- We recommend that you carpool when travelling in groups for parking space.
- Everyone will be required to sign a waiver. For participants under the age of 16, a parent or guardian must sign for them.
DID YOU KNOW?
NTR routinely checks the river for items that may have gotten away, but we also hire a scuba diver to get in the deep areas along our route.
NTR has also been a proud supporter of many local organizations.
